The Espresso Martini is a variant of a classic vodka drink with a strong emphasis on caffeine. As the cocktail contains a shot of espresso, this also adds caffeine content to the drink which is sure to liven you up. The drink also features Kahlúa, a blend of coffee liqueur and rum. INGREDIENTS:
- For the drink
- 50 ml vodka
- 35 ml Kahlúa coffee liqueur
- Sugar syrup (to taste)
- 1 shot chilled espresso
- Ice cubes
- For the garnish
- Coffee beans
How to make
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, coffee liqueur, sugar syrup and espresso.
- Shake vigorously to combine the drink.
- Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a few coffee beans.
